The Bank was registered on 1953. The Bank is having 29 Branches including clearing service Branch spreading over the Shivamogga District.

The Bank has given top priority for financing Agricultural sector since inception by taking into consideration various credit needs of the farmers. It is serving farmers by providing timely & adequate finance through the primary Agriculture  Co-Societies at the ground level. The bank is taking active participation in Government sponsored schemes such as KCC. Medium term loan, SHG, Kayaka,  BadavaraBandhu , Animal husbandry, PM Swanidhi. etc.

The Bank has not lagged behind in customer service. Bank is working on Core Baking Platform since 2014 and  providing modernized banking facilities to customers  like RTGS,NEFT, Inter-Branch Transactions, ATM,RuPayDebit Card,RuPayKisan Card, SMS Alert, APBS, NACH. etc.Banking on wheels – This Bank is inter connected with all Branches of the Bank through Any Branch Banking facility.

The bank has issued 98070, Kissan Credit Cards to the members of the PACS out of which Members have been covered under personal accident insurance schemes. A sum of Rs. 793.91 crores has been advanced under this scheme during the year 2020-21. The Borrower under crop loans is also covered by crop insurance scheme sponsored by the Government. With a view to diversify the activities, Bank has also financed Rs.394.50 crores to non-farm sector.

As on 31-03-21, the Bank has mobilized Rs. 1078.35 crores of Deposit, Rs. 1084.09 crores loan outstanding, out of which Rs. 625.46 crores under S.T. Agricultural and Rs. 458.63 crores under Non-Agricultural. The Bank Advances loans to various purposes as per the needs of borrower like Salary loan, Vehicle loan, Housing/Commercial complex loan, Gold loan, Mortgage loan,Overdraft loan, SHG, CCL to Co-op societies, Industrial loan. Etc.
